I used to live just around the corner from this lovely little place so we used to pretty much live in there. The staff are fantastic and so friendly and the seating is so comfortable with a couple of really cosy little boothes with seats that are practically on the floor!
The food menu is top end Thai. The red curry is in my opinion the best in town and enjoy that with a good portion of pad thai and you won't be disappointed.
The whole experience is also very cheap indeed. Hard to believe when the food is this good. They also do a fantastic take away service. -

If you are looking for a real Thai Restaurant than you should not choose this place.
Unfortunately they don't serve Vietnamese food even though that could be something that they may do better.
Beware that they add a service charge of 10% on top of the bill without any declaration.
for me one time is enough.
I know so many real (and really good) Thai restaurants.
So there is no need for this one.

I have a stomach ache.
Very disappointed this time around using Muang Thai for what was supposed to be a take-away treat. I was really looking forward to it as I had eaten from here before and enjoyed it, but this time around... Ouch, so upset I've been parted with £40 for what we received.
My boyfriend and I went for a mixed starter which was vegetable tempura, stuffed chicken wings, satay chicken, spring rolls and fish cakes. This came to £14 and everything we received was over-cooked and seemed like it had been made for Arietty and the rest of the borrowers. What a giraffe.
I went for the Tom Yum soup which tasted like dish water - hardly any heat to it and the chicken was RANCID. Dry and looked like Deirdre Barlows neck.
The boy then went for the special fried rice which he refused to eat. He found it dry and the chicken and prawns had seemed like they had been cooked within an inch of their lives, it was vile.
I then had the roast duck curry which was £9.50 and came without rice so I then had to spend another £2.50 on that. The rice was stodgy and inedible and the roast duck curry was the consistency of thick custard. Hardly any duck, the bits I did get were pure fat. I needed a gallon of water to get through a few bites!
We called them back and told them we weren't happy but emphasised we had been surprised as had a nice meal here before and were told 'same head chef!' 'all the same!' no sorry's til she had to at the end. The customer service is non-existent.
This place is ridiculously expensive.
I will end this on a high note though. While we rang back to complain, a very naughty, ginger little ball of opportunist fluff, my puppy Jarvis, crept over to the food and scoffed the lot! He is staying outside tomorrow - I dread to think... -

Not the cheapest of Thai places, but then on the other hand a good Thai food doesn't come cheap. I love the decor and to be honest for me this is the best Thai food I have had outside Thailand :)

It's a small, nice place to have dinner. Food was really delicious. however, little bit pricy (we had a veggie set for two, which included a starter, small bowl of soup, and a main course made up from rice and three more dishes for £35. It was really filling up, but as for take-away option, I would go for something muuuch cheaper). The design of the place was a bit cheap and messy (we were sitting by some stock, sprays for cleaning, etc), so I would not recommend this place for very sophisticated personalities, but in general, it had its own charm. I would recommend it for someone who wants to spend money for something delicious, rather than someone, who is having a date.
